Yosemite Trip Day 3

We’re at the campsite today, and the tent is up. There are a lot of large photos from this point on; click on any picture to see it enlarged.

Ant in the morning

On the drive to our first destination, we saw a bear. My camera couldn’t zoom far enough for me to get a picture, but I did get a few pictures of people looking.

First destination was Mariposa Grove to see the amazing giant Sequoias.

very shallow roots.

I messed up this shot of a stellar jay, but it ended up looking pretty interesting.

Next we drove to the beautiful Bridal Veil Falls:

Once we got close to the falls, this very matter-of-fact sign greeted us.
