L’ski Travels

Saturday, August 8th, 2009

My mom has created a great site that chronicles our trip to Alaska this summer with photo slide shows, video, and stories. I’ll be posting a few pictures from Alaska but this site is a much better story of the whole trip. Here’s the link: L’ski Travels.

Lake Lemon

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

I biked to Lake Lemon a few weeks ago. Among other things, I saw a dog and a red-winged blackbird that were in a shouting match for the fifteen minutes I was at the lake.

Obsidian Butterfly Orchestra Reading

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

The spring orchestration readings were last week, and the plan was to have the second half of my piece read. Because of a few lucky circumstances, I was able to get an extra 25 minutes with the orchestra at the end of the reading sessions. During this time we got a full take of the piece in its entirety, and I think it turned out really well considering how limited our time was.
